Teach courses in visual journalism through the School of Communication. The first, "Multimedia Storytelling," is an advanced undergraduate multimedia journalism course focused on multimedia production and website design and development. Students produce photo stories, audio slideshows, web videos, data visualizations, site maps, wireframes and news sites. The second, “Design for Journalists,” is an entry-level journalism course in print and web design. Students work with Photoshop, InDesign and Wordpress to design data visualizations, publication layouts and portfolio sites.

Philadelphia University Department of UX + Interaction Design (2015)
Adjunct Professor
Taught two courses in user experience and interaction design through the College of Design, Engineering and Commerce. The first, "Essentials of Interactive Design,"​ is a foundational graduate course in the three core disciplines of interactive design: design skills, software competency and programming knowledge. Processes taught include auditing existing user flows and interfaces, conducting user research, writing personas, developing updated UX through site maps and wireframes, creating UI kits, conducting user testing, designing comps and developing with HTML, CSS + JS. The second, "Fundamentals of Web Design & Strategy," is an undergraduate course that explores the design process and techniques for creating interactive experiences on the web, including information architecture, usability, front-end programming logic and design literacy.

Owner
Provided wedding, event and portrait photography services to clients in the Philadelphia region. Designed all photo albums and print products. Created and managed all online client galleries. Handled all aspects of business, including client consultations, contracts, marketing and more. 

Berlitz Corporation (2011-2013)
Production Coordinator
Served as an integral part of the Business, Research and Development (BRD) team, between the production and editorial departments. Developed, designed and proofed both print and multimedia education materials used by Berlitz Language Centers in more than 70 countries around the world. Created textbooks, educational infographics, static and interactive PDFs, mobile application and website mock-ups, web banners and more, using the Adobe Creative Suite. Edited text, images, audio and videos for print and web materials. Researched and tested new trends in digital publishing, including software and services such as the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Proofed all print and multimedia content before, during and after it hits the press and/or web. 

Clearpoint Resources (2008-2009)
Marketing Manager
Oversaw each component of company’s national iLabor Technology marketing campaign from conception to completion. Conceptualized and implemented marketing strategies. Researched, wrote, and edited all ad and sales copy, web content, press releases, case studies, e-marketing and print newsletters, mass mailers, internal communications documents and sales PowerPoints. Designed all graphics, including the company logo, letterhead and business cards, ads, sales sheets, HTML and print newsletters, mass email and snail mailers, PowerPoint slides  and training manuals, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver. Organized all aspects of trade show marketing, from pre-show invitations to post-show follow-up, booth design, sales and media kit packaging, raffle giveaways, tchotchkes and show service orders. Launched ClearPoint’s inaugural in-house campaign.

Newhouse Newspapers (2006-2008)
Staff Photographer
Served as full-time photographer for company’s Gloucester County Times, a daily newspaper with a circulation of 25,000. Shot general news, features and sports. Edited photographs and caption information on tight, daily deadlines. Collaborated with a team of editors, staff writers and designers. Supervised college interns when on assignments. Assisted in story writing, copy editing and page layout. Trained staff on InDesign. Produced audio slideshows for the Web.

Philadelphia Daily News (2006-2008)
Contributing Photographer
Served as an intern and then freelanced as a general assignment photographer, filling in assignment gaps when staff photographers were unavailable. Worked on tight deadlines to photograph news, features and sports. Edited photos and caption information.
